Denver Story Trek
Denver Story Trek is the city’s newest history experience, created to reveal the “six degrees of separation” among the people of Denver’s past and present. Along our parks and parkways, in our residential neighborhoods and in the city core there remains a visual record of our history. Capitol Hill Neighborhood Walking Tour
Walk through a neighborhood of charming historic mansions, where you will explore how this once dusty and desolate land became home to the movers and shakers of Denver. Tour includes stories of its founding and growth, the prominent architects involved, as well as the diverse architectural styles from Victorian to Art Deco. Historic Denver is excited to introduce visitors and locals alike to the neighborhood of Capitol Hill that contributes to the city’s rich local heritage. The tour starts and ends at the Molly Brown House Museum, lasts approximately 75 minutes, and covers about 1.2 miles.
Lower Downtown (LoDo) Walking Tour
From Union Station to Wynkoop, Tattered Cover to Warehouse Row, learn how the largest collection of historic warehouses in the West transformed from railroad hub to skid row to urban hot spot. Tour includes an exploration of Denver’s transportation history, commercial architecture, preservation efforts, and more. The tour starts and ends at the historic Denver Union Station, lasts approximately 75 minutes, and covers about a mile.
